Britney Spears will be releasing her sixth studio album, Circus on her birthday, Tuesday, December 2nd!

Her label Jive/Zomba announced the first single, “Womanizer”, will drop next Monday, Sept. 22. and was produced by the up-and-coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders.

Britney also enlisted the help of other established producers/writers for Circus including Dr. Luke (who wrote and produced the album’s title track, “Circus”), Danja, Max Martin, Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bjork).

Britney recently walked away with three Moonmen awards at this year’s MTV VMAs for “Video of the Year,” “Best Female” and “Best Pop Video” for “Piece of Me.”

2. Which is to say that it’s not now due in February.

3. The single will be out at the end of November.

4. The album will be out in December.

Una fonte ‘affidabile’ (ma si sà che di affidabile non c’è quasi nessuno) sembra aver rivelato la data di uscita provvisoria del nuovo album di Britney Spears: il 9 Dicembre 2008. Il primo singolo, dovrebbe debuttare in radio all’inizio di Ottobre seguito a ruota da un successivo singolo in quanto la Jive vorrebbe estrarre due brani prima del rilascio dell’album. A ‘confermare’ le voci ci sarebbe anche un addetto della Sony/BMG canadese, precisamente di Toronto, il quale sembra aver riportato le stesse informazioni, dopo aver inviato un’ email alla sede principale della Sony/BMG. Prepariamoci, perchè in questi mesi verremo bombardati da preseunte date di uscita che potranno rivelarsi vere come assolutamente fasulle.
